As a Certified Divorce Real Estate Expert (CDRE™), Chris brings 17 years of real estate experience as a neutral third party with an expertise for exceptionally tricky transactions. Chris has the experience and training in low-to-high conflict divorce real estate and is equipped to navigate the challenges that family law real property issues can bring. Chris has the unique experience of being trained by family law attorneys, mediators, lending experts, and judges as a neutral third party in the sale of real property in Family Law matters.
The program Chris is a part of requires participants be bound by the following code of ethics:
Adhere to the National Association of Realtors Code of Ethics at all times
Be an active member with the National Association of Realtors
Be respectful and collaborative with your fellow Divorce Real Estate specialists
Teach and educate the family law community
Not engage in dual agency in a divorce transaction
Maintain an arm’s length distance between clients, buyers, escrow and cooperative agents in a divorce transaction
Have no vested interest in the purchase of divorce properties for personal use
Not represent one party in another transaction without the other party’s consent
Not allow the sale to be more important than the family’s best interest
Not receive nor give referral fees, or “kickbacks” for attorney referrals
Not take a listing outside of one’s scope of expertise
Maintain clients’ confidentiality from the general public
In addition to his expertise in real estate, Chris is a Certified Probate Expert and can offer specialized knowledge, assistance and referrals in handling trust and probate estates. He provides service that combines a deep understanding of the market with care and compassion for his clients.
